Purpose: Provide the highest level of technical direction / leadership to continuously improve the quality of components supplied to the Plant through assessment, analysis, reporting and implementation of improvements to the quality systems and processes of the Plant and component vendors . Along with Corporate Supplier Quality, monitor supplier performance, support supplier PPAP process and assign and manage supplier corrective actions. Provide direct support to Plant Operations and Quality to resolve issues related to product quality through containment, root cause analysis and development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
