Airgas Southeast , a subsidiary of Airgas USA, LLC. the nations leading distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases and welding supplies, has a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver position open at our Opelika, AL location. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position handles all warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, cylinder handling, and stocking of hardgoods in the warehouse, loading/unloading trucks and may occasionally work in the showroom assisting customers with sales at the counter. In addition, serve as a backup driver as needed. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: Stocking, storing, labeling, picking, packing and distribution of all materials and supplies. Physical receipt, checking and storage of delivered materials into the warehouse; performs inventory of warehouse materials. Enforces policies for proper receipt, storage and distribution of materials; reviews invoices. Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed.
