Electro Mechanical Technician Performs repairs of production equipment including replacing failed components such as bearings, motors, starters, solenoids, etc. - Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional qualifications using rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments. - Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. - Lubricates and cleans parts. - Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. - Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts as required. - Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. - Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs - Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. - Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
