A small, community bank is looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join their banking family. The right applicant can start immediately, and be put on a fast track to become a Mortgage Loan originator Job Functions: Provides administrative assistance to the residential loan officer/originator (MLO) including updating loan data for entry into the financial institution's core system and assembling documentation for residential loans. Using Loan Origination System (LOS) programs. Assembles and verifies the accuracy and ensures that residential loan files contain accurate documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Checks documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions and closing dates. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Performs other duties such as processing commitment letters, ordering appraisals, title opinions, flood certifications and tax transcripts. Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loan processing and info.
