Accounting Manager (660002) - (San Francisco, CA)

Conduct and prepare monthly/ annual closing for the Company, including preparation of general ledger account balance reconciliation including reconciliation of revenues and expenses of the Company's international offices; variance analysis between projected and actual budget with explanations; journal entries for month-end, quarterly and annual close. Train & supervise Junior Accountants in computing taxes owed, and preparing tax returns and other required tax reports for federal and multiple state tax authorities. Review the work of accounting staff to ensure that accounting records and other financial reports conform to reporting and procedural standards. Review payroll tax reporting and returns to identify any discrepancies and resolve any unbalance in payroll account. Research and implement withholding and tax garnishment notices from state agencies and tax authorities.
