Warehouse Supervisor - (Pompano Beach, FL)

Responsible for managing the safe, cost effective and efficient operation of the distribution center. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ---Oversee daily activities of the department to maximize production goals and qualifications ---Work together with department employees in assigning and tracking production, staffing, and customer service levels ---Reviews ongoing departmental performance results and takes corrective measures as needed with proper authorization ---Participate in periodic planning processes relevant to the business initiatives ---Promote safety and maintain the awareness of a safe work environment ---Handle all relevant employee timekeeping record qualifications, vacation scheduling, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions ---Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternatives
