Grant Writer We are looking for a Grant Writer who will be responsible for conducting a full range of activities, such as, research, prepare, and submit grant proposals to foundations. This includes researching, compiling, writing and editing grant applications. The Grant Writer will work as a strategic partner to identify and conduct prospect research on foundations and corporations as well as government agencies for potential grant requests. Overview and Requirements Acquires and maintains sound knowledge of the organization, and uses that knowledge to examine projects and programs for potential grants. Review application guidelines to determine if a foundation, government agency, or corporation is a good match for COHC. Write grants for federal and state government agencies, public/private foundation funders and other funding sources when applicable. Inform Management about grant funding, application processes and required reporting activity. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
