The SOA is seeking a Section Specialist to serve as 1 of the primary contacts for section leaders, section volunteers and SOA staff partners for all operational and governance matters applicable to the sections. The SOA has twenty Sections, which are special interest groups related to areas within the actuarial practice areas. This Section Specialist will work with 2 other Section Specialists to serve on SOA strategic, operational, and department projects. The position mandates a broad knowledge of total SOA organization, independent decision making, and strong people skills.
