Human Resource Generalist - (Belvidere, IL)
Responsibilities include a broad range of HR duties with an emphasis in Labor Relations, Talent Management, benefits administration, general administrative functions, wellness, payroll and/or back up for the payroll function and assisting in the development of robust Human Resource function. • Will assist all departments and locations with all their HR administrative needs. Demonstrate a very positive “Customer Service” approach to everyone with strong employee relations skills. •Facilitate and foster ongoing positive Labor Management relations with Union leadership. Involved with grievance activity, labor management meetings etc. • Ensure company compliance with all Federal, State, and Local legal reporting. • Will partner with EHS support roles at plant level for support of the safety focused culture. Administration of Worker Compensation coordinating with the Operations team, Work Comp insurance provider in a timely manner. Will coordinate absences, pay and light duty activity.
