Production Manager - (Cincinnati, OH)

The production manager has eight direct reports and helps oversees the other 40 plus production employees with the plant manager. The position is open because the current manager is moving into a new function within the organization. Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Manage and direct the production activities for all products to assure attainment of production and shipment objectives. 2. Responsible for physical control of all inventories and the support of cycle counting and physical inventory programs. 3. Responsible for production process to ensure quality and all applicable US and international standards are achieved. 4. Monitor progress and drive improvements to achieve manufacturing performance objectives. 5. Ensure adherence to Quality System documentation requirements and personnel training requirements. 6. Provide support for the introduction of new products into Manufacturing in a timely manner to achieve cost, product specifications and quality objectives.
