Construction Laborer-Truck Driver for Top OC General Contractor - (Anaheim, CA)

Job DescriptionEssential Job Duties· Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes· Follow route and time schedule· Follow DOT regulations and safety standards perform pre-trip inspections (correctly complete driver's log book) of his/her vehicle. Maneuver and control the vehicle in a safe fashion, which includes handling the vehicle on-site and in over-the-road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speeds to road conditions (wet, dry, snow, or ice), and the expertise to drive during the daytime or nighttime· Safely load and unload all equipment/materials over all terrains, and properly secure all loads responsible for routine fueling, lubricating, and servicing of their vehicle when not driving, will be directed by Supervisors on tasks to be completed around shop and yard and possibly jobsites.· May need to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
