Plant Industrial Engineer - (Eden, NC)

Summary:Supports manufacturing by developing the process and line balancing for manufacturing facility. Works with operations, quality, materials, and other support departments to meet all targeted goals. Engineering functions may include leading Kaizen events, utilizing Lean practices to identify and eliminate waste. Plant Industrial Engineer Responsibilities: Responsible for plant layouts, process documents, work standards as well as equipment justification and implementation. Develops strategies to reduce operational costs with the use of Continuous Improvement initiatives. Participate in cross-functional teams during advanced quality planning activities (APQP). Maintain plant level routings and Bill of Materials. Coordinate planning for build and launch, including change activity. Must understand and apply lean manufacturing principles. Direct, Support and facilitate Lean initiatives.
