Chemical Plant Mechanical Project Engineer Providing technical mechanical engineering support for the operation and maintenance of a chemical manufacturing plant. Seeking BS in Mechanical Engineering; 3+ years of related skills in a Chemical, Petrochemical, smelting or refining facility; familiarity with rotating and reciprocating equipment and vessel and piping systems common in Chemical plants and knowledge of ASME, API standards and reliability best practices.Shall provide mechanical engineering ability and support for: facilities; piping; tanks; flow, rotating and fired equipment; etc. to ensure the reliable operation of chemical manufacturing facility and perform project engineering functions as required; definition, justification, estimation, and request for capital funds for process maintenance and improvement projects.TYPICAL ACTIVITIES: Providing technical mechanical engineering support for the operation and maintenance of a chemical manufacturing plant.
