LOCATION Portage, IndianaINDUSTRY Steel IndustryRESPONSIBILITIES In this position your overall goal will be to reduce unscheduled maintenance delays in the steelmaking melt shop and hot strip mill. Oversee Melt Shop and hot strip mill maintenance personnel and direct equipment maintenance and repair. Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) programs to assure the highest quality maintenance of equipment. Identify and implement consistent inspections of all critical equipment. Create historical data base to document equipment life, failures and repairs.
