DSP Design Engineer Job - (Austin, TX)

Our client, a large growing company located near Austin, Texas is seeking a DSP Design Engineer to add to its team. Responsible for design, development, and evaluation of digital circuitry in mixed signal integrated circuits. Will work as part of the team through all stages of product development including specification, design, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, design for test, backend verification and silicon debugging. Oversee layout and verification activities including floor-planning, place and route, LVS and DRC. Work with Product and Test staff on product specification and characterization of prototype units. MSEE plus a min of 7 yrs? related work background in digital design using disciplined design methodologies and latest EDA tools. Knowledge of state machines, circuits and signal processing data paths, including FIR/IIR filters. Prior project lead background is a plus.
