Assistant Director of Nursing - (Hot Springs, VA)

Assistant Director of Nursing Kissito exists for the betterment and care of human life. Kissito Healthcare is looking for an ADON. Qualified applicant must be an RN with Virginia/eligible license from an licensed institution and have prior, graduated leadership background; BSN required, MSN preferred. Previous ADON, long term care background and knowledge of Long Term Care Regulations preferred. The successful applicant will work with leadership at all levels of the organization to guide the nursing staff in the day to day processes and operations of caring for our residents. Duties include unit and staff management, physician interface, QI reports and audits, create, implement, and evaluate nursing policies; educate staff; assist in maintaining nursing budget; and providing the highest level of care for our residents and families. The job mandates strong clinical skills, excellent inter-personal and communication abilities, and the expertise to work with little supervision.
