Supply Chain Specialist II - Home Appliance - (Ridgefield Park, NJ)

General Description (Responsible, under limited supervision, for forecasting and demand planning. This role will also contribute to the capacity and production planning processes while directly interacting with SEA internal teams and customers. This role will provide output to support overall financial planning and budgeting, finished goods planning and purchasing for SEA. Works independently, and considered a seasoned and experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area. Determines approach to work, and is monitored/supervised based more on milestone basis, and at key deliverable junctures. Provides forecasts for Samsung's Home Appliance category. Develops forecasts using internal tools to provide customer forecasts and trend info. Tracking of orders from placement through to delivery. Develops and implement robust metrics and reporting on forecast accuracy and issues. Utilizes metrics to understand root cause and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy.
