Software Engineer - Virtual Reality Position overview Job overview: The Perceptual Computing Group of Intel Corporation is looking to fill the position of Virtual Reality Software Engineer to work on new vision-based sensing products for the consumer market. In this position, the applicant will drive the definition and execution of advanced technologies for Virtual Reality. The applicant will collaborate closely with internal and external collaborators to develop and implement compelling new usages, algorithms, and prototypes on Intel-based computing platforms. Responsibilities Own application-level prototypes and demonstrations built in a custom C eleven engine. Champion visual fidelity and optimization across prototypes developed by a cross-disciplinary team. Implement and maintain systems including animation tools, asset pipelines, scene editing, gameplay scripting, and rendering.
