Associate Test Engineer - (Chicago, IL)

Job details Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment. 1. Participates in the review of requirements and designs to ensure an understanding of the impacts to the project relative to the products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment. 2. Creates test cases for assigned requirements/designs. 3. Participates in peer review of test cases. 4. Ensures established standards, best practices, and protocols are understood and followed. 5. Takes ownership/responsibility for the knowledge attained relative to the applications being tested. 6. Create defects accurately and understand the defect management process plus the peer review process. 7. Needs to be knowledgeable of SQL. 8. May need to participate in special projects, if required. Education Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline. Requirements
