Our client, a leading producer of Kaolin all over the world, is seeking an experienced Planning and Production Engineer to be based in Georgia, United States. Please see the following position description: Role of Job: To provide the primary interface between Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing in regards to production scheduling and capacities. Drive key business processes like monthly forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management. This position is essential for developing and promoting sound planning and inventories capabilities to support growth targets. Further proliferation of decision-support technologies and MRP II principles are major reasons for this position. Produce a monthly Production Plan from sales forecasts and customer trends. - Balance available capacity with needs of competing markets.
