Position description We are seeking a leader to help our customer's succeed by leading a team of mechanics that ensure our customized solutions for equipment & tool are safe and working properly. This is an opportunity to join a leader in the rental market with a history of high growth in a stable industry. Service Manager to oversee a team of heavy equipment (diesel mechanics) performing the duties of a heavy equipment mechanic, including: performing diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed in the most effective and cost-efficient way possible to avoid down time at the shop location. (Relevant background includes construction equipment mechanic, crane mechanic, diesel technician, hydraulic technician, rental equipment mechanic, shop foreman, shop supervisor, etc.) As a Service Manager, you willmanage the servicing of company and customer equipment in a timely and effective manner. This is a skilled mechanic management role; it is not a sales based role.
