Staff Accountant - (Alexandria, VA)

Staff Accountant The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) is seeking a staff accountant that will report directly to the controller and collaborate closely with the senior accountant. This is a key position in the 4 person Finance/Accounting team. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in not-for-profit accounting and possesses strong analytical abilities, work ethic, management expertise and attention to detail. This position interacts with most of the organization so the expertise to work well with others is paramount. Assignments include, accounts payable process including 1099 reporting, petty cash fund, primary accounting support for affiliated NCPA Innovation Center and NCPA Foundation, financial administration for the NCPA PAC, monthly bank reconciliation for main bank account, support for year-end audit with external auditors, corporate credit card administration and assisting with other miscellaneous accounting projects.
