Controls Engineer - (Chicago, IL)

Basic requirements include development and analysis of digital control systems, including: requirements development, supplier management, and deliverable review. Ideal candidate must also have background in control system design, electric drives, and the control of rotating electrical machinery. Familiarity with computer hardware design (DSPs, FPGAs, etc.) and real-time control system software engineering for power system applications is preferred. Power systems or motor design background is preferred. Applicants should be familiar with Matlab and Simulink, including desktop simulation as well as real-time workshop and associated real-time targets such as xPC. Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written correspondence abilities.
