Medical Billing Clerk - (Syracuse, NY)

POSITION DETAILS : Medical Billing Clerk (primary care out-patient health care, medical/clinical setting). CPC / Certified Professional Coder certification is a plus but not required. SCHEDULE: Full-t ime, 40 hours work week, Monday through Friday (approximatel y) 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. REQUIREMENTS: 1yr of min work background as a Medical B iller is required - JOB DETAILS: - Knowledge of HIPPA regulations, as well as, knowledge of the processes associated with the billing of government agencies is a requirement. Knowledge of medical billing procedures and Ms office applications is necessary. The job mandates strong communication expertise to develop strong, positive and positive working relationships with Providers, agency Directors, agency staff, departmental staff and related government agencies. Possess strong accounting and management skills to effectively manage and maintain systems and processes associated with the position.
