Sales Engineer Job - (Pittsburg, KS)

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Aggressively follow-up with customers to ensure that bids are received. Also, work with the Sales Manager, Regional Managers and representatives to follow-up on bids and budgets to close the business. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned): Maintains log, status, and control over customer RFQ's and quotations in our CRM program. Assist Marketing & Sales Manager in developing quotations and sales strategies. Maintain sales/job files. Work with customers in answering questions on quotations. Assist Marketing & Sales Manager in closing orders as required. Support the Regional Sales Managers and sales Representatives. Other functions or assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
