Assembler - (Bessemer City, NC)

POSITION TITLE: Assembler Summary/Objective: Under general supervision performs semi-complex and varied assembly operations. Requires the use of simple hand tools and the expertise to follow documented procedures. Normal activities include material preparation and component assembly. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position, may be called upon to do any or all of the following key functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.) Individual will prepare shades for assembly in accordance with the Fabrication Manual. Preparation may include, but is not limited to, attachment of hem strip, assembly of clutches for installation, cutting fabric and hems according to applicable templates, attaching fabric and end plates to cassette, rolling in battens, cording, sticking and d-ringing shades according to customer order.
