Journeyman Lineman - Nationwide Travel - (Avon, MN)

Position details: Journeymen linemen build and maintain electrical power systems. They do all the work from the point of generation (power plants) all the way to the customer's meter. The lines may be on overhead structures or in underground vaults or trenches. They may be in rural and metropolitan areas. Education Requirements: High-school equivalency and successful completion of a 4-year lineman apprenticeship program or lineman journeyman certificate from an accredited trade school or 48 mnths of validated line construction track record and a min score of 80% on the district or utility Lineman Journeyman exam. A valid Class "A" driver's license issued by Department of Motor Vehicles is required. Rubber Gloves and/or Hot Sticks Certification required. Experience: four years of requirements required.
