Production Assistant - (Oldsmar, FL)

Randstad is seeking a Production/Purchasing Assistant for a manufacturing client in Largo, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive background in costing and purchasing. Advanced microsoft excel skills are required for this position and the expertise to multi-task is also key. SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a one hour lunch. PAY: $15.00 - $17.00/HR. Location: Largo, FL -Applicant will work hand in hand with the Production Manager to ensure these duties are done efficiently and to the scope of the needs of the company and Production Manager. -This position will have light purchasing duties including but not limited to; office supplies and production tools. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F Skills: Duties: -Update and maintain daily production reports. -Maintain employees list. -Maintain labor and material costs. -Create PO's in accounting system. -Communicate with vendors regarding raw material, machines, samples, etc.
