Quality Inspector - (West Hartford, CT)

Quality Inspector The perfect candidate will have the following abilities and experience: -Must be able to read engineered blueprints and have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. -Min of ten years experience in the machining industry. -Familiar with machine shop practices and equipment capabilities. -Experience with, and worked within, an AS9100 approved Quality system. -Expertise to prepare, complete and present 1st Article Inspection documents to our customers in an AS 9100 format. -Expertise to conduct thorough root cause investigations and corrective action reports -Expertise and experience with structural part dimensional inspection techniques -CMM programming and inspection experience is a major asset -Expertise to work with and interrogate computer generated models. -Be able to write, edit and formalize Quality procedures and programs. -Be able to initiate processes that collect manufacturing data, collate, analyze and present this data.
