Medical Communication Customer Service - (Jacksonville, FL)

General Summary Requires excellence in and dedication to Customer Service A non exempt position responsible for answering phones scheduling patient appointments responding to general patient inquiries and complaints Must project a professional image through phone interaction Expertise to speak multiple languages a plus Essential Position assignments: Answer all incoming calls in a timely and efficient manner Schedule reschedule patient appointments with correct appointment type Mail out new patient info packets via email or postal service Take messages and task to the appropriate staff member Take consults from doctors offices and hospitals; text email and or fax to the appropriate providers File faxes and batches from ICS Retrieve and appropriately handle voice messages for the medical assistants Handle correspondence faxes and disability paperwork that needs to be sorted and scanned into the system Excellent Customer Service Expertise to multi task Expertise to handle a multi line phone system
