Job DescriptionDepartment: Service DevelopmentStarting Range: $45,947 to $50,960Union: Non-UnionStart Date: ImmediatePurpose and Scope of JobUnder general supervision, the Schedule Writer prepares and write schedules for current fixed route transportation services that will maintain max efficiency at the least expense within the Authority's policies. Develops schedules for new services as they are offered and analyzes existing service. Works to coordinate fixed route and connector services as necessary to meet customer needs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUsing scheduling software, prepares route modifications and schedules for assigned transportation services, taking into account the type of service necessary, number of buses required, number of trips, miles, tie-ins with other runs, union contract restrictions, etc.
