Prep Cook - (Mystic, CT)
The ideal candidate for this position Will have a min of 1-2yrs background in a Hotel or Restaurant kitchen. High-school certificate or equivalent required. Flexible schedule to allow for expertise to work around business demands Assist both banquet & restaurant chef with prepping foods for both outlets. Prepares food items according to recipes, instructions and customer orders and follows food handling and safety qualifications. Has expertise to both take direction as needed and operate independently with various tasks while meeting timelines for completion. Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times. Completes opening and closing duties in accordance with approved procedures. Who you will be working with This position reports directly to the hotel's Executive Chef. You will also be working directly with the Restaurant Chef for service in The Irons, our restaurant within the hotel.
