Essential Job Functions: Market driving opportunities to prospective applicants. Contact prospective drivers, Independent Contractors and Fleet Owners by calling, e-mailing or faxing with details on available positions and directing to apply on line, or e-mail/fax application. Actively recruit, interview, evaluate, and select applicants per hiring policies and in accordance with affirmative action/EEO. Respond to and follow up on various leads by telephone, online and /or in person. Investigate candidate experience details. Conduct interviews of qualified candidates who meet hiring criteria. Inform applicants of additional details required to complete the application process. Qualify new hires verifying previous employment. Make conditional job offers to applicants who are qualified. Schedule driver orientation. Arrange transportation, lodging and meals for driver orientation. Schedule DOT drug testing and physicals for incoming drivers.
