NICU Nurse Manager The regions largest level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is in search for someone spectacular to lead their elite nursing team as the next NICU Nurse ManagerThe NICU Nurse Manager will work in a large NICU program which consists of just over 60 beds and will oversee over 150 NICU nursing staff. There is a high volume at this medical center, performing approx 3200 births a year. The Nurse Manager NICU will have support from other managers who coordinate in the oversight and will all report directly to the Nurse Director of Womens services.The NICU that the NICU Nurse Manager oversees at this esteemed facility is a part of a new movement towards family-centered care. This new movement emphasizes the importance of families remaining together in the early stages of an infants life, so the rooms are set up in a way that families can stay overnight with their newborn.
