Our Center is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons and offers patients from throughout New England a comprehensive plan for treating obesity that includes: • Bariatric surgery including gastric bypass surgery and sleeve gastrectomy • Laparoscopic Removal of Adjustable Gastric Band • Laparoscopic Conversion of Adjustable Gastric Band to Sleeve Gastrectomy or to Gastric Bypass • Nutrition education and counseling • Psychological counseling and referrals • New Patient Meeting Details/Peer support groups • Long term medical follow up and advanced, state-of-the-art services Requirements Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in Psychology, Social Work or Advanced Practice Nursing. Education: Graduate and post-graduate education must include adult normal growth and behavior theory and adult psychopathology.
