Mechanical Engineer Sr with Security Clearance - (Littleton, CO)

The selected applicant will join the Special Programs line of business as a member of the Advanced Programs RF design team. This program area develops RF payload for spacecraft. These tasks include designing and building development hardware that are flight like. The applicant will be expected to develop concepts, create detail engineering and oversee the build and assembly of hardware. This will require the applicant to collaborate closely with the analysis, manufacturing and procurement teams to deliver hardware to support program schedules. In addition, this job requires support of Request for Info and Request for Proposals, including the development of spacecraft concepts to support various payloads. This includes sizing and modeling of the spacecraft ensuring the system level qualifications and CONOP's are met. Additionally, this position may be required to write BOE's and text for the proposals. Designs major components or major portions of a satellite system, or technically advanced protoypes.
