Hardware Engineer Sr with Security Clearance - (Owego, NY)

The applicant will serve as a Hardware Engineering Lead with responsibilities spanning Capital, Research & Development, Proposal, and Contract related work. The applicant will be responsible for designing, procuring and integrating numerous COTS, semi-COTS, and custom hardware components and systems in support of multiple mission systems for processor/graphics development. The applicant will serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers, cross-functional teams, and program leadership to determine interface qualifications, ensure architecture suitability, provide parts procurement support, design/build/document cable and lab equipment, and lead integrate & test. Other assignments include: -Work with in the hardware team to provide direction for meeting technical and schedule commitments. -Develop system qualifications and system architecture which includes special processing technologies.
