Network Engineer Associate with Security Clearance - (Suffolk, VA)

The Network Engineer Associate position will provide direct operational support to the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation (CFI) located in Suffolk, VA. This position will be a member of the Enterprise Business Services (EBS) team providing technical support required to execute the CFI mission. Assignments include, but not limited to; break/fix support, network equipment installation & configuration, and interfacing directly with end-users on incidents and projects. The work at the CFI occasionally requires tasking that is outside the core skills of the position. All work will be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours and weekend support as necessary. Other duties include: * Provides 1st-level troubleshooting, verification, resolution and/or timely update of system-generated alerts and coordination/closure of incident tickets - Knowledge of network equipment (routers& switches). - General understanding of networking concepts (ex. TCP/IP, IP subnetting, routing tables, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
