Tax And Development Finance Attorney with 4+ years of experience - (Syracuse, NY)

Syracuse office of our client seeks tax and development finance attorney with 4+ years of relevant background in complex entity structures, tax planning for real estate development projects, and federal and NYS tax credit transactions. The applicant should preferably have a degree or background in accounting and/or finance. Working familiarity with allocation structures for multi-tiered LLCs/partnerships to achieve economic agreements among project owners and investors is required. Transaction and project financing background with developers, investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and bond issuers is needed. Planning, negotiating, and structuring project finance involving federal (LIHTC, NMTC, HTC) and/or New York State (SLIC, SHTC, Brownfield, and/or Empire Zone) tax credits essential. Should also have background in merger and acquisition transaction structuring and financing. Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.
