Job description: The role of a Leasing Professional is 1/3 sales, 1/3 customer service, and 1/3 office administrator. You have to sell your community by listening and adapting to the needs of your customers. You're the ambassador for your community and Continental Realty. A Typical Day: Get your office ready: Open up your software programs, check voicemail and email, make sure refreshments are available. Prepare for touring the community: Print apartment availability report, inspect any vacant units and make sure leasing materials are ready. Check appointment calendar and scheduled move-ins, get lease files ready. Make sure all sales leads are followed up on, post ads to web sites and other marketing channels, i.e. Social Media. Follow up on lease renewals for current residents, enter maintenance requests in the system.
