DESCRIPTION Fryer cook operator will operate processing equipment in a potato chip manufacturing facility. Starting pay is $13.58 an hour. Typically work Monday through Thursday only. Medical, Dental, Vision and Pharmacy insurance available day 31. Must join Union day 31. Company paid Life and Short-term Disability Insurance. 9 paid holidays. Vacation after 1 yr. DUTIES Start-up and prep of equipment for use in potato chip manufactur. Turns on water valves, condensors, potato feed hoppers, fryer oil circulating pump, drum washer, barrels, slicer heads. Also will replace blades in slicer head every two hours. Obtains raw potato slices from under the slicer heads and check slice variance using a micrometer. Will monitor processing equipment and make adjustments in oil level, heat level, slicer heads, drum washer water, potato hopper, accumulator, seasoner, and salter as needed. Continually monitors conveyor. Daily clean-up of all areas. REQUIREMENTS Expertise to read letters and numbers on all displays.
