Accounting, Auditing: Auditor - Providence, Rhode Island - (Providence, RI)

Auditor You'll be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes, issues, regulations and control risks associated with your assignments. To complete them, you'll conduct audit interviews to identify key control activities and issues, and assess their adequacy. You'll develop the appropriate testing approach for basic audits, complete all audit program steps, and document work performed and results in audit work papers. You'll also prepare walkthrough narratives, flowcharts and other documentation related to IT, demonstrating your understanding of related business processes and key control activities. You should be able to explain clearly any business process control issues to the audit team and audit clients. Position Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in a business-related position, or an equivalent combination of training and background. -One to 2 yrs of audit background. -Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing. -Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
