Logistics Marine Coordinator Job - (Dundee, MI)

PURPOSE The Logistics Marine Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and communicating all relevant details relative to supplying and planning for the movement of aggregate materials by utilizing the United States Inland Waterway system. The role monitors, reports, and advises on efficient and effective measures aiding the management of daily tactical barge operations supporting the Company's yards and customers. The incumbent utilizes and tracks company owned/ leased motor vessel assets, charters, and Contracts of Affreightment (CoA). The position ensures product is delivered on time, efficiently, and at the lowest cost possible. To be successful in this role, this individual needs to be an excellent communicator keeping all levels of management and peers aligned. The individual also takes into account the needs, capabilities and limitations of both production, sales and logistics personnel and organization.
