Delivery Assurance Specialist - (Shelton, CT)

A large manufacturing company in Fairfield County is seeking a Delivery Assurance Specialist to join their growing team for an extended project. The engagement is anticipated for (18) eighteen months. The Delivery Assurance Specialist will be the primary link to all supplies to improve delivery performance by tracking, validating, expediting and reporting real time part delivery status. Responsibilities: Track the flow of critical part to provide delivery support to external customers. Work with supplies to monitor all parts to support on time deliveries. Drive actions to mitigate potential delivery delays by identifying risks, performing root cause analysis and development of recovery plans. Work together with the supply base to maintain commits integrity with the Supplier Delivery Systems (SDS) Portal. Identify systemic causes for poor delivery performance and develop improvement plans. Must be proficient in Excel. Have Effective compunction skills.
