Position summary This individual prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and qualifications Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. 5+ years of background estimating large civil earth-moving projects. Advanced level Microsoft Project and Bid Software background. Responsibilities Review project plans, qualifications and specifications. Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks. Conduct site walks and customer meetings. Perform and verify accurate quantity takeoffs. Review contract, insurance and bonding qualifications and collaborate with internal resources to ensure all qualifications are met.
