Warehouse/Forklift Worker - Morrow Cold Storage - (Boardman, OR)

Key Accountabilities * Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. * Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas * Sorts and places items on racks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code * Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms * Marks materials with identifying info * Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed * Counts items for distribution * Compiles tickets from customer specifications * Drives forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant and from warehouse to truck or railcar * Loads and unloads trailers according to work orders * Loads railcars according to specifications * Help maintain inventory records by making sure transfers and changes are recorded accurately * Other duties may be assigned * Actively engage in safety, participate in safety programs, safety activities
