Senior Scientist - Bioconjugation Development - (Exton, PA)

Perform cell-free protein synthesis and conjugate antigenic polysaccharides to specific sites on a proprietary nnAA-containing polypeptide uniquely produced via cell-free platforms to produce best-in-class conjugate vaccines and novel antigen-based vaccines. Responsibilities: *** Lead development and optimization of bioconjugation reactions that involve modifications proteins and polysaccharides. *** oversee and perform experiments aimed at optimization of relevant reaction parameters and purification procedures to yield bioconjugates with desired quality attributes using tangential flow filtration, high performance liquid chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance, liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, and colorimetric assays. *** Develop scalable, robust, and efficient bioconjugation processes suitable for the production of preclinical and clinical conjugate vaccines. *** Perform scale-up of bioconjugation reactions.
