Job Description Job description: Supervises employees in the production, filling, and packaging of reagents, calibrators, and/or controls on automated filling and packaging equipment to approved standards and specifications. Analyzes procedures and production methods to improve quality, costs or productivity, in keeping with product specifications, good manufacturing practices, Federal safety regulations and Company policies. Performs minor maintenance on equipment and troubleshoots processes. Performs routine process adjustments within predetermined limits; conducts random visual product quality inspections; verifies production quantities. Supports Practical Process Improvement initiatives: Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Savings projects Ensures machine and work area is clean using 5S principles Lead, participate and/or support kaizen workshops; monitor progress, maintain database, metrics, pre-workshop, and follow up on post workshop activities
