Maintenance Mechanic - multi-craft Job - (Charlotte, NC)

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Other Internal Titles: Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic C, Mechanic Level four GENERAL PURPOSE: Organizes and implements the daily maintenance function for the Plant. Provides professional guidance and skilled technical work in the maintenance function including installation and maintenance of Plant equipment and tools for home Implements and administers the preventive maintenance program; and assists with negotiations for purchase of parts, tools and minor equipment from local vendors/resources. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Examines equipment and tools to diagnose trouble ? Disassembles mechanical equipment and tools, repairs or replaces worn or broken parts and reassembles ? Adjusts parts of mechanical devices as needed.
