Warranty Writer - (Oklahoma City, OK)

General Responsibilities Job Purpose The primary mission of the Warranty Writer is to administer Fleet Warranty claims including translation of basic repair info to valid manufacturer’s warranty claims for submission and reimbursement within the allowed submission time and manufacturer’s guidelines. This includes the review of every work order submitted from the entire division to determine warranty and non-warranty status. Provide support to the maintenance locations; provide technical and recall info. Key responsibilities for the warranty writer include serving as a liaison between Hertz Worldwide field locations and manufacturer representatives to gain max claim reimbursement. Audit warranty claims that are returned, pay long or short, document and monitor results. Administering the Maximus On-line Maintenance System with the field locations, monitoring audit points and documentation are also high priority responsibilities of the position.
